6th Grade-Explorers

The sixth graders have been using their hyperlinking skills to create a presentation on their favorite explorer. Look for examples soon!

5th Grade-Tuck Everlasting

The fifth graders read the book Tuck Everlasting in their classroom. They used their hyperlinking skills to create a non-linear presentation. They thought about some pros and cons to drinking wather that would make them live forever. Great work, 5th Graders! Look for examples soon.

4th Grade-Create a Question

All classes 4th-8th learned all about hyperlinking slides to create a non-linear presentation about the Winter Olympics. The 4th graders used this skill to create questions about themselves. They typed in a question with 3 wrong answers and 1 correct answer and linked the answers to the appropriate slide. They will be going to their classmates' slides to see how well they know each other. Look for an example soon!

3rd Grade Civil Rights Leaders

The third graders have been working on their Civil Rights project for Mrs. Schneider. They each chose a leader to research. In technology class, they used the Marion County Library website to search for information about their leader. They will use this infomation in the classroom for their Wax Museum project. They will also create a presentation using PowerPoint with the information they find. Look for examples soon!

2nd Grade Parts of Speech







The second graders have been learning about parts of speech. They are using PowerPoint to create slides for nouns, verbs, and adjectives. It's so fun to see them having fun creating their slides.

First Grade Colors







The first graders have been busy learning how to use PowerPoint, and they are very good at it! They learned how to add and change text and insert pictures, and they learned how to add backgrounds. They created a prayer. We say a new prayer at the start of each class. They also learned how to add autoshapes and change colors to create a very colorful slide.
